Perform 4 Purpose

2024 SKARTS Grantee

Last year SKARTS provided a grant for our Strings Program, the success of this program has prompted a strong interest in a Horns Program. This project would provide a much needed course(s) on horns instruments that is not provided by any other programs in our community and our county schools with the exception of Auburn High School. This limits the needs for our musicians in all other districts and areas of the county. Holding sessions at our centrally located studio in Auburn will make the course accessible to all. The initiative for this project is to provide a direct pipeline to musicians interested in playing with the Auburn Chamber Orchestra and will also broaden the scope of genre of music that will be performed by Perform 4 Purpose.
