Grants FAQ

Any individual artist or non-profit arts or cultural organization located within a 15-mile radius of the Village of Skaneateles area are invited to apply for a grant. Our grants have supported community events, museums, gallery projects, educational programs, local arts groups, and individual artists.

Grant amounts vary by project/organization, up to $1,000.

Yes! Even if you’ve received a SKARTS grant in the past, we encourage you to apply again.

Applications for each year’s grant cycle open on March 15 and applications are due by May 31.

SKARTS grants are funded primarily thanks to the generous support of our donors. A large portion of our funds come from our juried art show and sale.
