2024 SKARTS Grantee

The Barrow Gallery is excited to announce that we will be celebrating John D. Barrow’s 200th birthday throughout the 2024 season! Over the past four months, our dedicated staff and volunteers have been busy discussing special events and exhibitions, while also planning and executing a significantly refreshed installation inside the gallery. We are seeking a SKARTS grant in the amount of $1,000 to help meaningfully defray the associated cost for this updated installation, which is sure to renew interest in our 124-year-old organization and appropriately honor the artist during his bicentennial birthday year. The out-of-pocket cost for this project includes painting services, professionally installed signage, and printing totaling around $1,300. If chosen for funding, we will include a line on our published materials noting that the installation was made possible in part by SKARTS.
